*Please note: Students must be able to attend the first class of the session.

Students will learn the fundamentals of working with porcelain paper-clay, including how to make the paper-clay slip, composition, preparation and ideal firing techniques. We will also cover essential and creative methos of construction. Each week there will be guided demonstrations leading to individual explorations which will help in developing your own artistic voice. By the end of the course, you will not only have a collection of unique pieces but also the skills and confidence to continue exploring this exciting medium! *Please note that you will be mixing your own clay which requires moderate hand strength.  Ages 17 and up.
