In this session we will explore making bottles, vases and other vertical forms appropriate for crystalline glazes. While this is a 6 week session, it is only 3 weeks of hands-on making, the rest of the sessions are dedicated to preparing pieces for the crystalline glaze process. Bring your ideas and skills you want to brush up on - we can address your own personal goals along with what we have planned for classtime. We will be finishing the pieces with crystalline glazes. We will discuss basic crystalline glaze formula, firing schedules, and the art of using crystalline glazes.

DFAC Clay fee provides 25 pounds of clay selected by the instructor and a limited supply of glazes and underglazes.  This fee is charged per bag of clay used with a maximum of 2 bags per session.
