Cumulonimbus: The Art of Yhali Ilan

Showcasing both small and large scale paintings, Yhali Ilan works in a seemingly light-hearted and illustrative style. However, a strong narrative thread weaves through each piece encouraging viewers to tease out a tale or create their own. Ilan works in a variety of disciplines including painting, digital media, and large-scale murals. He’s especially active in and dear to his community in Dunedin.

You Could’ve Been Anything If You’d Wanted: Tempus Projects at 16

For sixteen years, Tempus Projects has been a vital force in Tampa’s cultural life as an independent, artist-driven space that has amplified emerging voices while also bringing nationally recognized artists and ambitious exhibitions to the community. Since its founding, Tempus Projects has provided a platform where contemporary art and culture can be engaged with directly, fostering connections between artists and audiences, and cultivating an environment of learning, experimentation, and dialogue.

The Source

The Source is a juried exhibition and open call to artists in our community. Explore the source of your art and inspiration in ways both literal or metaphorical, whether it be a wellspring, a flame, a muse. All media is accepted and there are no size limitations. Guest judge is Lynn Whitelaw, formerly curator of the Leepa-Rattner Museum and currently curator at the Brooker Creek Preserve. Cash prizes will be awarded.

Now in the Studio: Our Newest Instructors

The Dunedin Fine Art Center is proud to showcase the work of three of our newest instructors: Anders Fernbach, Betsy Ore Glass, and Ritu Haldar. Working in oil painting, pastels, and quilting, each artist brings a unique perspective and expertise to their practice and to the classroom.
