Spice up your jewelry with lovey colors! We will add color to silver and copper clays using polymer clay, colored resin, and metal clay mokume gane. Projects will include textured silver earrings with colored resin, a copper bracelet set with polymer clay, and a pendant made with a combination of copper and silver clays. In addition to metal clay skills, you will learn how to apply and cure colored resin and set, bake and finish polymer clay in a metal clay setting. You will also learn how to create a pattern combining copper and silver clays to make a metal clay version of mokume gane - a Japanese technique of combing silver and copper sheet metal to make wood grain patterns. The materials kit includes 30 grams silver clay, 50 grams copper clay, polymer clay canes, resin and all findings need to complete the projects.
