W-MM121 Papercutting 101 with Margot Griffin

Workshop

Tuition: $80

Lab Fee: $5

Levels: Beginner

You may have heard of the art of scherenschnitte but can you pronounce it? Paper cutting is exactly what it sounds like- cutting delicate paper to produce beautiful, interesting works of art. This class will teach you the basics of safe cutting using an x-acto knife, as well as how to design your own scenes. Students will start out with instructor-provided templates and can expect to leave with at least one finished piece.
