Curious about digital art but not sure where to begin? This introductory course will guide you through the basics of Procreate on the IPad in a relaxed, hands-on way. Learn how to navigate the App, use brushes and layers, experiment with color and discover the essential tools you need to begin creating your own digital artwork. No previous Procreate experience necessary. Just bring your IPad and your creativity!

Note: Having a stylus is not mandatory but very useful, so if you have one, please bring it.

Topics covered: Creating your canvas, Brush Library, Brush Tools, Colors, Gestures-short cuts, Editing Tools, Layers, Importing graphics, Exporting/saving your work, Making Stacks in the Gallery

Additionally, I will go over the basics of how to make a simple animation video and introduce the Procreate Dream app which is designed for professional animation.
