For the past seventeen years, Wearable Art designers have shocked, defied, and delighted audiences with fashions that arrest the senses and excite the imagination! DFAC’s Wearable Art designers have gone on to receive international acclaim at New Zealand’s renowned World of Wearable Art Show with fashions incorporating kinetic illusion, unlikely materials, pop-culture, and outrageous theatre.

Wearable Art supports local and regional fashion designers and artists and has a significant impact on our local economy with over 500 attendees. Sponsorships of Wearable Art assist DFAC in providing stipends to participating artists/designers while also supporting DFAC’s exhibitions and educational programming. We invite you to join us for one of our largest fundraisers that enables us to further our mission and ensure the future of DFAC for years to come.
