Young artists will begin by learning the fundamentals of facial proportions through engaging sketching activities and practice exercises. As they build their skills, they’ll explore how to draw individual facial features—including eyes, noses, lips, ears, and hair—while gaining confidence with sketching techniques. The course will culminate in a one-of-a-kind self-portrait, where students will creatively transform half of their face into meaningful objects that match the size and shape of their facial features. Come discover how artists use observation, proportion, and creativity with a variety of 2D drawing materials!

For new and continuing students, ages 8-12.
