PT583 Creative Techniques in Watercolor with Kerry Stratton Waltz

This class will focus on using experimental techniques to create special effects in watermedia. We will be using a variety of watermedia such as; gouache, acrylic, gesso,   Water soluble inks, pencils, and  crayons. No experience needed but must have a desire to experiment.  There is a $5 material fee paid to instructor for  some supplies that will be provided.

Supplies-

• Watercolor paper- 140 lb. cold press Arches or fabriano artistico
• Watercolor paint- grumbacher academy or cottman student grade or any brand of proffessional paint Alizarin crimson, cadmium red light cadmium yellow light,,cadmium yellow medium ultramarine blue prussian blue burnt sienna paynes gray. Any other colors you like.
• Any other watermedia listed that you have or would like to use
• Instructor will supply some additional materials for each lesson
